3) INFORMATION WE PROCESS

Our Wellness App's may process the following categories of information depending on how you use it:

A) Wellness / Hearing & Therapy Information (User-provided and App-generated)

  • Hearing assessment inputs and results (e.g., audiogram/refined audiogram values you enter or generate)
  • Tinnitus-related configuration inputs (e.g., preferences you select for therapy)
  • Therapy settings and parameters (e.g., therapy type, session length, per-ear configuration

Purpose:

  • Provide core App functionality
  • Generate and run personalised audio therapy sessions
  • Maintain session continuity and user experience

B) App Usage Information

  • Session start/stop events and duration
  • Feature interactions within the App (e.g., which therapy modes are selected)

Purpose:

  • App functionality and session continuity
  • Improve usability and performance

C) Technical / Diagnostic Information

Basic error or crash information (if enabled on your device/platform)


Purpose:

  1. Troubleshooting and improving stability

4) WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT


We do not require accounts and do not intentionally collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses (unless you voluntarily contact us)
- Government identifiers
- Precise location data
- Contacts, calendars, photos, or videos
- Microphone recordings (the App does not record audio)
- Advertising identifiers for ad targeting (the App does not serve third-party ads)

5) HOW INFORMATION IS STORED
A) On-device storage
By default, in our wellness apps, hearing inputs, therapy configuration, and session information are stored locally on your device in the App’s private storage to enable the App to function.

B) Optional remote services 
If we operate optional online features (for example, syncing, analytics, or support tooling), we will limit transmitted information to what is necessary for the stated purpose and update this policy accordingly, this includes cloud saves with the relevant service provider, (e.g., Google Play, Apple).

6) DATA SHARING
- We do not sell user data.
- We do not share user data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
- We do not allow third-party advertisers in the App.

Service providers (if used):
If we use trusted service providers to operate parts of the App (e.g., hosting of an API, crash reporting, or support systems), we will only share the minimum information required for those services to function and only for the purposes described in this policy.

7) SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS
If the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are processed by the platform provider (e.g., Google Play, Apple). We do not receive or store your full payment card details. The platform may provide us limited purchase status information (e.g., whether a subscription is active) so we can unlock paid features.

8) SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information processed by Our App's.
If our App's transmit information to our servers (where applicable), we encrypt data in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

9) DATA RETENTION
- On-device data is retained for as long as you keep Our App's installed or until you delete/reset it.
- If we store any information on servers for optional features (if applicable), we retain it only as long as necessary for the stated purpose and then delete or anonymise it.

10) YOUR CONTROLS AND CHOICES
- You can delete App data by using your device settings to clear the App’s storage or by uninstalling Our App's.
- You can change therapy configuration within Wellness App's at any time.
- If you contact us by email, you can request we delete that correspondence unless we must keep it for legal or operational reasons.

11) CHILDREN
The App is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly, contact us and we will address it.

12) INTERNATIONAL USERS
If you use Our App's outside the United Kingdom, your information may be processed in the country where you use the App and/or where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards.

13) CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website and update the “Last updated” date above.
